This Privacy Policy explains how Kivide ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use kivide.com and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account data (email, name, authentication identifiers), billing and transaction records processed by our payment providers, generation prompts and resulting media you create, technical logs (IP address, device/browser type, approximate location), and cookies or similar technologies for session, security, and analytics.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the Service, process payments and credit balances, enforce content and safety policies (including automated moderation of prompts and outputs), prevent fraud and abuse, communicate service notices, and comply with law.
3. AI generation and content safety
Prompts and generated images or video frames may be screened by automated moderation systems (including third-party providers such as OpenAI and Creem) to block illegal, harmful, or policy-violating content. Moderation decisions may be logged for security, compliance, and product improvement. Do not submit personal data of others or confidential information in prompts unless you have a lawful basis to do so.
4. Sharing of information
We share data with service providers who help us operate the Service: cloud hosting, databases, authentication, payment processors (e.g. Creem/Stripe as configured), AI model providers that fulfill generation requests, email delivery, and analytics. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Service.
5. International transfers and retention
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and dispute purposes. Generation assets and logs are retained according to product settings and operational needs, then deleted or anonymized.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. You can update profile details in your dashboard, and request account deletion where available. Contact us at support@kivide.com to exercise privacy rights. You may also control cookies through your browser settings.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards such as encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use a strong unique password and protect your credentials.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact support@kivide.com and we will take appropriate steps.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised policy.
